Placekeeping in Chinatown - Here To Stay, a multimedia project, will center the stories of people most directly impacted by displacement, with the long ­term goal of protecting and preserving our beloved neighborhood. This new initiative will be a bilingual project featuring short video and audio testimonials from tenants telling their own stories. Interactive media like Augmented Reality and online mapping will be used to present these stories of resilience and resistance to help viewers unpack the lived experience of evictions and gentrification. It is not just about preserving the facade of buildings but about keeping cultural memories associated with a place alive, keeping local businesses and community centers open, and keeping tenants who have raised their families in their homes. This project will also highlight the organizing history and building campaigns of the Chinatown Tenants Union (CTU).

通过保存原地－坚守家园这多媒体项目我们希望能与住客和社区居民合作来记录他们在唐人街及下东城的故事和回忆。“保存原地”集中受迫迁直接影响人士的故事，目标是要保护和保存这些具历史性的社区。这多媒体项目是个双语项目，有来自受迫迁的住客们诉说的短片和录音。这项目不只是关于保存楼宇的表面而是保存一个地方，本地小商业和保护住客和家园的社区中心的文化回忆。此外，这项目也会特别强调唐人街住客协会的组织历史及楼宇活动。
